The SF50 Generation 2 (G2) features include a higher maximum operating altitude, autothrottle, lithium-ion mainship batteries, upgraded avionics, and new cabin appointments. The FJ33-5A engine on the G2 has also been modified with a new thrust schedule from 24,000 to 31,000 feet and new maximum operating altitude (up from 28,000 feet), giving the G2 an improved climb and a seven-knot increase in cruise speed at 28,000 feet to 311 ktas. At 31,000 feet, the Vision G2 can cruise at 305 ktas, one knot faster than the original Vision at 28,000 feet (at International Standard Atmosphere and maximum takeoff weight). With the new maximum operating altitude of FL310, the G2 Vision is now RVSM capable from the factory.
